I love personalizing my crafting tools for my Studio. I decided since I will be using my Cricut Explore Air 2 a lot in crafting videos, I would take the opportunity to add some branding. Cricut Design Infinite makes it so easy and I'grand excited to show you how you can upload any image for your crafts!
How to Personalize Your Cricut Explore Air 2 – Uploading Custom Images
What you volition demand:
- Cricut Explore Air 2™
- Cutting Mat
- Cricut Glitter Vinyl
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Scissors
- Cricut Tools
If yous are new to Cricut, be sure to check out my video for cutting vinyl with your Cricut. It's great for beginner crafters!
The Cricut vinyl includes transfer paper! I love how sparkly it is and the silverish volition exist the perfect emphasis on the machine.
Stride 1:
Open Cricut Blueprint Infinite and start a new project.
Step 2:
Click the Upload Images icon in the permit hand corner. And click Upload Image. This will open a window for y'all to search for the desired file on your computer.
Step 3:
Select your file and click to upload. Once you run into your image in the epitome box, select the level of complexity of your paradigm. I chose Moderately Complex since in that location as a little bit of shading in my logo.
Step 4:
Select and erase the parts of the image y'all do not want cutting. For my file, I didn't want the background cut, so I clicked the areas I wanted removed.
Now you can see all the white was removed, leaving merely my logo image.
Step 5:
To see what your file will await like once cutting, click the preview button.
Step six:
Select if y'all want to salvage the file as a Print Then Cut epitome or a Save as a Cut Image. I selected Cutting Prototype. Next, click save.
Pace seven:
Resize your image as needed.
Pace 8:
Click the get push to begin cutting. See terminal calendar week'due south video to run into it in action!
Step 9:
Cut a piece of vinyl and place it right side up on the cutting mat.
Step ten:
Press the blinking Cricut button to outset cut!

Remove the uncut vinyl from the cut pad leaving only the cutting image.
Stride 12:
Using the pic, weed the prototype removing the small pieces of the vinyl from the messages and shapes.
Pace 13:
Cut a piece of StrongGrip Transfer Tape.
Step fourteen:
Remove the backing of the Transfer Tape and use the record on meridian of the vinyl image. Rub firmly.
Step fifteen:
Remove the backing of the vinyl and position the image on top of the Cricut Explore Air 2. Rub the vinyl with your fingers and slowly remove the Transfer Record.
